NATCO Pharma Gets USFDA Tentative Nod for Olaparib Tablets

Alembic Pharmaceuticals and its partner NATCO Pharma have received a tentative approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for their generic version of Olaparib Tablets.

These tablets are used to treat certain types of cancer and are a generic equivalent of AstraZeneca’s Lynparza.

The approval is a big step, but the actual launch depends on the outcome of a legal dispute.

The US market for these tablets is estimated to be worth $1.4 billion.

This approval adds to Alembic’s growing list of USFDA-approved products, helping them expand in the US market.

However, the company will have to wait for the legal issues to be resolved before they can start selling the product.
