Anti-Drug Cycle Rally Reaches Srikakulam
A big bike ride called the Abhyudayam Cycle Yatra started in one place and reached another place called Paidibhimavaram.
It's a special trip to tell people about how bad drugs are.
Lots of people, including police, joined the ride.
They stopped at schools, villages, and other places to talk about why drugs are harmful.
They also had fun things like dances and plays to make people understand.
The police said they will catch people who sell drugs and punish them strictly.
They even gave a special phone number for people to call if they know about drugs.
The main idea is to make sure no one uses or sells drugs in any family, village, or city.
The Abhyudayam Cycle Yatra – Pedal for a Drug-Free Future began in Payakaraopeta and reached Paidibhimavaram in Srikakulam district.
The rally, inaugurated by DIG Gopinath Jetti, aims to raise awareness about the dangers of narcotics and illegal drug trafficking.
The 1,000 km journey covers five districts in the Visakhapatnam Range, with participants conducting awareness programs at various locations.
The event featured student flash mobs, folk dances, traditional art performances, and skits to highlight the harmful effects of marijuana.
Authorities established a toll-free helpline (1972) for reporting drug-related information, with emergency numbers 112 and 100 also available.
