BJP Accuses Punjab Govt of Law and Order Collapse
Kewal Singh Dhillon is the chief of the BJP in Punjab.
He said the state government is not keeping the area safe.
He pointed to a letter from a member of the AAP party that asked for his security guards to be moved to police stations.
Dhillon said the letter shows that crime is getting worse.
He also said the AAP government is weak and that the party is being run from Delhi.
He wants the AAP leaders to be held responsible for the problems.
Punjab BJP chief Kewal Singh Dhillon criticized the state government over law and order, citing AAP MP Balbir Singh Seechewal’s letter.
Seechewal requested six of his security personnel be redeployed to police stations in Kapurthala district.
Dhillon said the letter from a ruling party MP proved Punjab’s crime situation had spiraled out of control.
He accused the AAP government of weakening police stations, allowing thefts, robberies, and drug problems to rise.
Dhillon called for the AAP leadership to be held accountable, suggesting the party was run from Delhi.
