Bangladesh to Skip India for T20 World Cup
Bangladesh's cricket team has decided not to travel to India for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
This decision comes after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) requested the International Cricket Council (ICC) to move their matches from India to Sri Lanka due to security concerns.
The BCB's decision follows the release of Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman from the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to instructions from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The tensions arise from recent diplomatic issues between India and Bangladesh.
