This water transport started on April 25, 2023, and became popular quickly.
Two people from Australia were the special 50 lakhth passengers.
The Water Metro goes to many places and runs from morning until night.
Lots of other places are now interested in having a Water Metro too.
The World Bank might even help out.
Kochi Water Metro has served 50 lakh passengers in 29 months.
The 50 lakhth passengers were an Australia-based couple.
The service launched on April 25, 2023, by the Kerala government.
The Water Metro operates across 10 terminals covering 5 routes.
The service has received interest from 21 other locations in India and abroad.
