Delhi University Students Protest After South Delhi Gangrape Allegation

Nearly 200 students from University of Delhi colleges marched on Friday.

They were protesting after an alleged gangrape involving a 17-year-old girl in Delhi.

Reports of molestation involving children in Bihar also increased anger.

The students said women should be able to travel and use public spaces without constant fear.

They asked for better lighting, safer transport, and stronger action against offenders.

Some students said curfews and restrictions on women do not solve the real problem.

College representatives said patrols and monitoring had been increased in several areas.

The protesters also began preparing a list of demands for authorities.
