Dhaval Packaging IPO Day 1: Issue Booked 26% So Far
Dhaval Packaging, a company that makes plastic packaging, decided to sell shares to the public.
On the first day of the sale, only a little more than a quarter of the shares were bought.
The price people were willing to pay was a bit higher than the company’s set price, so the shares might trade at a higher price when they start on the stock market.
Big investors like Carnelian and Saint Capital bought a lot of shares.
The money raised will help Dhaval build a new factory and pay off some loans.
IPO launched 30 July, ends 3 August, price band ₹92‑97 per share.
Day‑1 subscription at 26% of 25.29 lakh shares; retail 25%, NII 70%, employee 2%.
Grey‑market premium 8.25%, estimated listing price ₹105 per share.
Anchor investors: Carnelian AIF ₹5 cr, Saint Capital ₹1.99 cr, others ₹1 cr each.
Proceeds ₹36.36 cr earmarked for new facility, debt repayment, and general corporate use.
