Court Fines Sanjay Raut in Defamation Case

A court in Malegaon, Nashik, has fined Sanjay Raut, a spokesperson for Shiv Sena (UBT) and a Member of Parliament, ₹1,000 in a defamation case.

The case was filed by Dadaji Bhuse, a former State Public Works Minister.

The dispute started when Raut accused Bhuse of collecting money from farmers for the purchase of the Girna Cooperative Sugar Factory.
