Madhya Pradesh to Outsource Medical College Dialysis Under PPP Model

Madhya Pradesh plans to let private partners run dialysis services at government medical college hospitals.

This arrangement is called a public-private partnership, or PPP.

Dialysis helps people whose kidneys cannot properly clean their blood.

Patients classified as Below Poverty Line will receive the treatment for free.

Other patients will pay Rs 200 per session.

The government will provide doctors and space in the hospitals.

Private partners will manage the haemodialysis service.

Dialysis services have already been outsourced in district hospitals.

There are currently 71 dialysis centres operating at the district level.
