100-Foot Lord Rama Statue Planned for Vontimitta Tank
Imagine a giant statue of Lord Rama, as tall as a building!
Plans are in place to build this statue in a water tank near a temple in Kadapa district.
Architects have created a plan, which has been given to the TTD.
The goal is to attract more people to the temple and make the area a popular place for religious tourism.
It's similar to how the Buddha statue in Hyderabad draws visitors.
The Ramanavami festival, a big celebration, is held at this temple now, since the main celebration moved to another state.
A 100-foot statue of Lord Rama is planned for Vontimitta tank.
The project is proposed near the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple.
The statue's design is inspired by the Buddha statue in Hussain Sagar.
