Modi Marks 25 Years in Government, Recalls India’s Pahalgam Response

Narendra Modi spoke on October 7 as he marked 25 years leading a government.

He first became chief minister of Gujarat in 2001 and became India’s prime minister in 2014.

He recalled the Pahalgam attack, where 26 civilians were killed, and India’s response afterward.

He said India had struck terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir during Operation Sindoor.

Modi said he sees his public life as service, not personal glory.

He also spoke about goals for India by 2047.

These goals include becoming one of the world’s three biggest economies and making more goods in India.

He also said India should aim to host the Olympic Games.
