Srisailam Reservoir Storage Falls To 121 TMC Amid No Inflows

Srisailam Reservoir Storage Falls To 121 TMC Amid No Inflows

The Srisailam reservoir holds about 121 TMC of water.

On Saturday evening, its water level was 864.60 feet.

A completely full reservoir would reach 885 feet.

Officials said no new water was entering from the listed sources.

Telangana’s power house is using about 41,075 cusecs of water to generate electricity.

Andhra Pradesh’s right-bank power house was not generating power.

Because water is being used and no new water is arriving, the reservoir’s storage is falling.

Officials are concerned because no fresh inflows are expected soon.
