Ram Kapoor Used 'Monk' as Foundation for 'Mistry' Role

Ram Kapoor stars in 'Mistry,' a Hindi adaptation of the US series 'Monk.'

Kapoor, a fan of the original, used it to create his character, Armaan Mistry.

The show, blending comedy, drama, and mystery, is set to premiere on JioHotstar on June 27th.

Kapoor found the transition easy, using 'Monk' as a foundation.

With no extra research needed, he adapted the character to his own style.

Mona Singh, Shikha Talsania, and Kshitish Date also star in 'Mistry.'
