Ukraine strikes Russian targets, killing six

On July 24, 2024, Ukraine launched missile strikes on targets in Russia's Kirov region.

Six people were killed, and 26 were injured.

The strikes hit a military enterprise and a warehouse belonging to Wildberries, a Russian online retail giant.

Ukraine claims the targets were supplying components for Russian aircraft and missile systems.

Ukraine also accused Wildberries of storing drone components for the Russian army.

Meanwhile, Ukraine reported that Russian missile strikes outside Kyiv killed six people and injured others.

Ukrainian President Zelensky said Russian aerial bombing killed five people in the frontline city of Sloviansk.

Ukraine argues that the retaliatory strikes are aimed at forcing Russia to come to the negotiating table to end the war that has continued for over four years.
