Sharad Pawar: closure of 36,000 Maharashtra industrial units 'deeply shocking'
In India, there is a state called Maharashtra.
It is known for having many factories and businesses.
Recently, people found out that more than 36,000 companies closed down there in the last five years.
That is a very big number!
A leader named Sharad Pawar said this news is 'deeply shocking.'
He explained that we do not even know how many workers lost their jobs.
Some companies in a place called Chakan are moving away too.
They say traffic, pollution, and problems with water, electricity, and roads made them leave.
These companies employed more than 2,000 people.
Mr. Pawar wants the government to talk to business owners and help them stay in Maharashtra.
NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar called the closure of 36,211 industrial units in Maharashtra over five years 'deeply shocking.'

Twenty companies in Chakan are relocating due to traffic, pollution, water, electricity, and road issues, affecting over 2,000 workers.
