Arunachal Students Attend Republic Day as Special Guests
Two young boys, Nipul Modi and Samir Tati, from Arunachal Pradesh are going to be special guests at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi.
They were once involved in begging but are now going to school.
The government chose them to show how their lives have improved through a special project called SMILE.
This project helps people who used to beg to get back on their feet.
The boys are excited to attend this big event with other children from all over India who have similar stories.
Two students from Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, Nipul Modi (10) and Samir Tati (13), are attending the 77th Republic Day parade as special guests.
They were selected under the SMILE project, which supports rehabilitation from begging.
The boys are currently studying in government schools in their locality.
The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment selected 100 beneficiaries from across India for this honor.
