DU Allows FYUP Students to Exit with Degree After Three Years
Imagine you're in a special four-year college program at Delhi University.
Now, you can choose to leave after three years and still get a degree!
If you've finished three years (six semesters), you can get either a regular three-year degree or an Honors degree, depending on what you studied.
To do this, you have to tell the university online.
This change is part of a bigger plan to make college more flexible, letting students decide how long they want to study.
It also means you can get different types of awards after different amounts of time at school.
Delhi University allows FYUP students to exit after three years.
Students completing six semesters can get a three-year or Honors degree.
Students must submit their intent via the university's student portal.
The initiative aligns with the NEP 2020's flexible education approach.
FYUP allows certificates, diplomas, or bachelor's degrees based on years completed.
