Court Summons Raj Kundra in Bitcoin Scam Case
A court has asked two businessmen, Raj Kundra and Rajesh Satija, to come to court on January 19, 2026.
They are involved in a case about a Bitcoin scam.
The court says Raj Kundra got 285 Bitcoins from someone named Amit Bhardwaj, who is the main person in this scam.
These Bitcoins are now worth more than Rs 150 crore.
Raj Kundra says he was just helping with the deal, but the court doesn't believe him.
They think he was actually part of the deal.
The court wants to talk to them to find out more.
The ED also claims that Kundra and his wife, actor Shilpa Shetty, tried to hide their property from being attached.
A special PMLA court issued summons to Raj Kundra and Rajesh Satija in a Bitcoin Ponzi scheme case.
Raj Kundra is accused of receiving 285 Bitcoins from Amit Bhardwaj for setting up a Bitcoin mining farm in Ukraine.
The deal did not materialize, and Kundra is still in possession of the Bitcoins, now valued at over Rs 150 crore.
Kundra claimed to be a mediator but could not provide documentary evidence to support this claim.
The court concluded that Kundra was actually part of the agreement with Amit Bhardwaj.
