Visakhapatnam Khadi Fair Promotes Indigenous Products and Artisans
A Khadi fair was held in Visakhapatnam to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.
MP M Sribharat opened the fair on Friday.
He encouraged people to buy Khadi and other locally made goods.
He said this could support artisans and traditional workers.
BJP district president MMN Parasurama Raju also urged people to use more Khadi.
The fair displayed Khadi, indigenous goods and handicrafts.
Sribharat visited the stalls and spoke with artisans and organisers.
Several BJP leaders and party workers attended.
