Ketan Kadam Granted Interim Bail in Mithi River Scam
Ketan Kadam, the main person accused in the Mithi river desilting scam, was given temporary bail for two weeks.
The court allowed this because his mother is very sick.
He has to follow some rules, like staying in Mumbai and visiting the police station twice a week.
He was arrested earlier by the Mumbai Police for his involvement in the scam.
He has to return to jail after the two weeks are over.
Ketan Kadam, CEO of Virgo Specialities Pvt Ltd, granted interim bail for two weeks.
Bail granted due to critical health condition of his mother.
Conditions include PR bond of Rs 1,00,000 and marking presence twice a week at local police station.
Kadam must not leave Mumbai city limits during the bail period.
