Metropolitan Museum's 'Costume Art' Reframes Fashion in 2026
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is opening a new fashion exhibition called 'Costume Art' in 2026.
It will show clothes and accessories next to other art, like paintings and sculptures, to show how fashion is connected to the human body.
The exhibition will use real people's bodies to make the mannequins that show the clothes.
The Met Gala in 2026 will also be about this theme.
New exhibition 'Costume Art' opens May 10, 2026
