India's First Youth Climate Action Center to Launch in Telangana
Imagine a special school is opening in India to help young people become leaders in fighting climate change.
It's called the Youth Climate Action and Innovation Centre and it will be in Hyderabad.
Here, kids and teenagers will learn about important topics like how to use technology like AI for good and how to protect our planet.
They will also learn how to start their own eco-friendly businesses.
The goal is to train a lot of young people so they can help India reach its goal of having zero pollution.
This center will connect them with jobs and mentors, even from places like Silicon Valley, to make sure they have all the tools they need to make a big difference for a greener future.
India's first Youth Climate Action and Innovation Centre will be established in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The initiative is a collaboration between the Government of Telangana (SPEED) and the UN-accredited non-profit 1M1B Foundation.
The Centre aims to empower youth to lead climate action, sustainability innovation, and green economic growth.
By 2030, it plans to train one lakh youth, connect 1,000 startups, and create 10,000 green job opportunities.
Key components include AI and Sustainability Experience Zones, talent accelerators, innovation studios, and global connectivity.
