Candlelight march in Panaji supports CJP, demands Pradhan's resignation
A group of people in Goa held a candlelight march to show their support for a group called the Cockroach Janta Party and a man named Sonam Wangchuk.
They want a government official named Dharmendra Pradhan to step down because they believe he did something wrong related to schools and exams.
The march started at a beach and ended at a nearby square.
One of the leaders, Cecile Rodrigues, said they are also protesting because some young people were hurt in Delhi, and they want to make sure similar things don't happen in Goa.
A candlelight march was held in Panaji, Goa, from Miramar beach to Azad Maidan.
The march was organized by NGO Uzvad to support the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and Sonam Wangchuk.
Participants demanded the resignation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the education sector and exam paper leaks.
Social activist Cecile Rodrigues led the protest, citing the brutal beating of youth in Delhi and the removal of Sonam Wangchuk from Jantar Mantar.
