Titagarh and Siemens explore international metro projects together

Titagarh Rail Systems and Siemens agreed to look for metro train projects in other countries.

Their agreement is not yet a final contract.

Titagarh says the partnership could support more train manufacturing in India.

The company had orders worth Rs 26,635 crore at the end of Q1FY27.

It is also working with BHEL to supply Vande Bharat trains.

Titagarh expects to deliver its first Vande Bharat train in late 2026 or early Q4 FY27.

The company is prioritising metro projects in Bangalore and Gujarat before starting a Mumbai prototype.

It plans to make many more coaches each quarter and expand its yearly production capacity.
