Botsa Satyanarayana Removed from GVMC Ex-Officio List
Botsa Satyanarayana, a leader in the YSRC party, was surprised and upset when his name was taken off a special list of important members for the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC).
He had been part of this list before and had attended meetings to talk about city problems.
The GVMC is having a meeting soon, and Satyanarayana thinks his name was removed because important topics, like land given to a university, will be discussed.
He doesn't understand why this happened and hopes the decision will be changed so he can attend the meeting.
Botsa Satyanarayana was removed from the ex-officio members’ list of the GVMC.
He expressed displeasure and questioned the rationale behind the decision.
The GVMC council meeting is scheduled for January 30, where issues like land allotted to GITAM University will be discussed.
Satyanarayana claimed he had attended GVMC council meetings five times and raised civic issues.
He hopes the authorities will withdraw the order and allow him to attend the council meeting.
