Sachin Tendulkar Honors Father With Fellowship and Teachers’ Day Tribute
Sachin Tendulkar remembered his father, Ramesh, on Teachers’ Day.
His father saw that Sachin loved cricket and let him follow that dream.
He taught Sachin to be honest and never cheat or take shortcuts.
He also taught that failing is okay.
Sachin said good teachers and mentors can help young people find their talents.
He started a fellowship in his father’s memory with the Inga Health Foundation.
The fellowship will help one doctor each year study cleft and craniofacial care in Srinagar.
Sachin hopes the programme will give people more opportunities to learn and help others.
Sachin Tendulkar said his father, Ramesh, recognised his passion for cricket and supported his dream.
