Trump's approval rises, defends tariffs, calls affordability a hoax
President Trump's approval rating has increased to 41% from 38% in the latest poll.
He recently gave a speech in Pennsylvania where he said his favorite word is 'tariff' and that his trade policies are bringing in a lot of money.
He also said that the idea of affordability being a problem is a hoax made up by Democrats.
Some people agree with him, but others, especially Democrats, think inflation and the cost of living are real problems.
There's also some disagreement about whether tariffs are good or bad for the economy.
Trump's approval rating increased to 41% from 38% in the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll.
The poll interviewed 4,434 adults across the US with a margin of error of two percentage points.
Approval rating on cost of living improved to 31%, up from 26%, driven by Republican support.
Republican approval of Trump's handling of the economy rose to 69%, and overall approval among Republicans increased to 85%.
