Pokemon Legends Z-A: Preorder Details, Pricing, and Switch 2 Upgrades

Pokemon Legends Z-A, a new Pokemon game, is coming out on October 16, 2025, for the regular Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.

You can order the game now from places like the Nintendo eShop and other stores.

The Switch 2 version costs a bit more but looks and runs better, with sharper pictures and smoother gameplay.

If you already have a Switch, you can still play the game, and there's an option to pay a little extra later to upgrade to the Switch 2 version.

The Switch 2 version is better if you want the best experience or plan to get the new console.
