CTET 2026 Revised Exam Dates Expected Soon After Applications Close
The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the CTET for teacher-eligibility candidates.
The board reopened applications so eligible people who missed the first deadline could apply.
The second application window closed on September 1.
The board has not yet announced the new examination date.
The original exam date was September 6, 2026.
The board said the change followed the Supreme Court’s emphasis on giving teachers a fair chance to meet the qualification rule.
The test will contain multiple-choice questions.
Each question is worth one mark, and wrong answers will not reduce a candidate’s score.
Candidates are also waiting for updates about the admit card and city slip.
CBSE is expected to announce revised dates for the 22nd CTET examination soon.
The reopened CTET 2026 application window closed on September 1 under the revised schedule.
The earlier application period ran from May 11 to June 10, 2026.
