Accused Wrestler Brij Bhushan Honored at League Launch
A wrestling league that stopped running a few years ago is starting again.
The person who used to be in charge of wrestling, even though he is accused of bad things by some women wrestlers, was invited as a special guest to the launch party.
He said he was just there because he loves wrestling and was invited by the new people in charge.
His son was also honored.
Some famous wrestlers who protested against him said they might not be able to participate in the new league, but the honored guest said everyone would be welcome if they wanted to join.
The league is set to start with teams of wrestlers.
Former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who faces sexual harassment charges, was honored as the 'guest of honour' at the relaunch of the Pro Wrestling League (PWL).
