SFJ Plans Consulate 'Siege,' Targets Indian Diplomat in Canada
Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has announced a 12-hour "siege" of the Indian consulate in Vancouver on September 18.
The group, banned in India, accuses the consulate of running a spy network to target supporters of Khalistan, a separate Sikh state.
The group also released a poster with a target on the Indian High Commissioner.
This event comes two years after Canada's allegations regarding Indian government involvement in the killing of a Khalistan separatist leader, which India denied.
India considers these claims as a diversion from sheltering Khalistani extremists.
