Auto Sales Rise in November 2025
In November 2025, car and bike sales in India went up by a little bit, about 2.14%, even though usually sales drop after the festive season.
This happened because of lower taxes (GST cuts) and special offers from car dealers.
Different types of vehicles had different sales results.
Bikes and scooters sold a bit less, but cars, big trucks, small vans, and tractors sold a lot more.
People are buying more cars because of the tax cuts, weddings, and better availability of popular models.
Dealers are hopeful that sales will keep going up because of good signs in the countryside and more people asking about buying vehicles.
They also expect more sales in December because of year-end offers and price changes expected in January.
However, some people are worried about potential slowdowns in the future and challenges in managing stores and competition.
Auto retail sales in India grew by 2.14% in November 2025, defying usual post-festive slowdown.
GST rate cuts and dealer offers drove sustained customer footfall and sales.
Passenger vehicles saw a 19.7% increase, while two-wheeler sales declined by 3.1%.
Commercial vehicles, three-wheelers, and tractors experienced significant growth.
Dealers expect continued demand due to improving rural sentiment and year-end schemes.
