Ollie Pope recalls England crowd jeers ahead of Pakistan Tests
Ollie Pope is a cricket player for England.
He was taken out of the team during a big series called the Ashes against Australia because he didn't score many runs.
Some England fans were unhappy with him and shouted unkind things, like 'Enjoy your last Test, mate.'
That hurt his feelings because he wants fans to like him.
He admitted that the negativity did not help him play well.
But now he is getting another chance.
Another player, Jacob Bethell, cannot play against Pakistan, so Pope is back on the England team.
Pope has played 64 Test matches and scored more than 3,700 runs in his career.
He hopes this new series gives him a chance to perform better.
Ollie Pope has been recalled to England's Test side for the three-Test series against Pakistan after being dropped during the 2025-2026 Ashes against Australia.
