Tempered Glass Business Earns Rs 60,000 Monthly, Faces New Rules

A social media user shared a story about a cook’s son who makes screen protectors for phones.

The post says he bought a machine that cuts glass for different phone models.

It reportedly takes about 30 seconds to make one protector.

He sells them to nearby phone shops.

The post says each one costs Rs 8–10 to make and sells for Rs 25–30.

It claims he makes Rs 50,000–60,000 in profit each month.

The government has also introduced a rule requiring screen protectors sold in India to meet a safety and quality standard.

People online reacted to both the business story and the new rule.
