Watson Praises KKR's Abhishek Nayar for Cricket Intel

Shane Watson, an assistant coach for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), praised the team's head coach, Abhishek Nayar, for his deep knowledge of cricket players, especially those in the Indian domestic circuit.

Nayar's insights were crucial during the recent IPL auction, where KKR successfully signed players like Cameron Green and Matheesha Pathirana.

Watson highlighted Nayar's ability to provide detailed information and alternatives for players, which gave the team confidence.

Green, who was signed for a record fee, is seen as a versatile all-rounder who can bat at various positions and bowl effectively.

Watson is excited about the opportunity to mentor Green and help him improve his skills.
