TAICCA Partners with Japanese, Taiwanese Firms to Boost Film and Game Industries
Imagine Taiwan's content creators, like filmmakers and game makers, want to share their amazing stories with the whole world.
TAICCA, an organization that helps them, just signed special agreements with two new friends.
One friend is from Japan, called K2 Pictures, and they will work together to make movies and TV shows, sharing the costs and helping Taiwanese productions be seen everywhere.
The other friend is from Taiwan, named Lunta Ventures, and they are like a bank for video game ideas.
They will give money to new game creators in Taiwan to help their ideas grow into cool games that people everywhere can play.
This helps Taiwan's creative people get more support and reach bigger audiences with their work.
TAICCA signed MoUs with Japan's K2 Pictures and Taiwan's Lunta Ventures at the Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF).
The MoU with K2 Pictures aims to boost global visibility of Taiwanese film and TV through co-production and co-financing.
K2 Pictures plans to shoot in Taiwan and collaborate with local talent, aiming to bring Asian cinema to global audiences.
TAICCA and Lunta Ventures will establish a 'Digital Games Fund' to support Taiwanese game developers with early-stage capital.
The 'Digital Games Fund' will provide financial backing and guidance to help Taiwanese game teams create internationally competitive original IPs.
