Lord's Cricket Ground Offers Fans Chance to Own Turf
Cricket fans can now buy a piece of the famous Lord's Cricket Ground!
For £50, anyone can purchase a slab of the historic turf.
The money raised will help support the MCC Foundation and enhance the cricket infrastructure.
The grass is being relaid because of wear and tear, including from fielders diving.
The last time this was done was in 2002.
Fans can purchase a piece of the Lord's Cricket Ground outfield turf for £50.
The outfield is being relaid for the first time in over two decades.
Sales will help fund the MCC Foundation and improve cricket infrastructure.
The digging up of the grass will begin in September.
The previous relaying was in 2002 to improve drainage.
