TGSPDCL Records All-Time High Power Demand Amid Rising Consumption
TGSPDCL supplies electricity in southern Telangana.
It said electricity use reached a record 12,044 megawatts.
This was higher than the previous financial-year record of 11,828 megawatts.
Greater Hyderabad also used a large amount of electricity, reaching 4,072 megawatts at its peak.
Across Telangana, demand reached 19,133 megawatts on September 28.

Telangana’s statewide peak demand reached 19,133 MW on September 28, while financial-year demand remained highest at 19,543 MW.
Officials attributed uninterrupted supply to planning, network upgrades, expanded substations, and modernization measures.
