National Security Meet Focuses on AI, Terrorism and Pakistan

National Security Meet Focuses on AI, Terrorism and Pakistan

More than 850 security officials and experts met in New Delhi to discuss how to keep India safe.

They talked about using artificial intelligence to study large amounts of intelligence information.

The Intelligence Bureau has developed some of these tools with help from experts.

Home Minister Amit Shah asked agencies to use this information to create better security procedures.

Officials also discussed ways to stop cybercrime, infiltration and proxy warfare by Pakistan.

They examined how to fight terrorism and radicalisation through a national policy called PRAHAAR.

Another topic was bringing alleged terrorists back to India or trying them when they are not present in court.

The next part of the conference will cover information warfare, biosecurity, blue-economy security and threats from sub-aerial systems.
