Delhi BJP Accuses AAP of Spreading Lies on Yamuna and Air Pollution
The Delhi BJP is accusing a politician from the AAP party, Saurabh Bharadwaj, of not telling the truth.
Bharadwaj said that the Yamuna river is as dirty as it was before, and that the current government isn't fixing the air pollution.
The BJP says this is a lie and that Bharadwaj is actually admitting that his own party did a bad job cleaning the river when they were in charge for 10 years.
The BJP also pointed out that Bharadwaj is criticizing things like water sprinklers used to control dust, but his own party used similar methods when they were in power.
They feel he's hurting his own party's reputation by speaking too much and not being honest.
Delhi BJP accuses AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj of lying about improvements to the Yamuna river and air quality.
BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor stated Bharadwaj's remarks admitted the Yamuna's poor condition under previous AAP rule.
Bharadwaj allegedly said the Yamuna has returned to its previous polluted state, which the BJP attributes to the AAP government until January 2025.
The BJP questions AAP's criticism of pollution control measures like smog guns and sprinklers, noting AAP previously used similar tactics.
The BJP claims Bharadwaj's statements are 'political self-goals' due to misinformation and excessive talking.
