Netflix Cancels Ransom Canyon After Two Seasons Despite Creative Improvements
Netflix has decided not to make a third season of Ransom Canyon.
The show is a romantic drama set in a Texas ranching town.
Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly played the main characters, Staten and Quinn.
The second season came out on July 23.
It was watched by fewer people at the beginning than the first season.
Season 2 had 4.1 million views in its first week, while Season 1 had 7.2 million.
The second season stayed in Netflix’s Top 10 for three weeks.
Although the show was reportedly received better creatively inside Netflix, its audience and budget did not support another season.
