Mayawati Declares BSP to Contest 2027 UP Polls Alone
Mayawati, the leader of the BSP, said her party will contest all future elections, including the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, on its own.
She wants to form a government with a full majority.
Mayawati also talked to the Brahmin community, saying they were treated fairly during BSP's rule and should not be misled by other parties.
She criticized the BJP, Congress, and other parties, claiming they are not doing enough for the people.
Mayawati also mentioned that the BSP had good plans for infrastructure and welfare, which were not completed due to lack of cooperation from the central government.
She promised to continue fighting for the rights of Dalits and other marginalized communities.
The Congress party criticized Mayawati, accusing her of indirectly supporting anti-constitutional forces and questioning her alliance strategy.
BSP will contest the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections independently, aiming for a full majority government.
