The Incomer: Sundance Comedy with Gleeson

The Incomer: Sundance Comedy with Gleeson

The Incomer is a funny new movie that's going to be shown at the Sundance Film Festival.

It's about two siblings who live on a faraway Scottish island and hunt seabirds for food.

They also tell stories about their ancestors and protect their island from outsiders.

One day, a shy council worker comes to the island and changes everything.

In one scene, the council worker has dinner with the siblings and they talk about different things, like veganism and eating steamed seagull.

The movie is directed by Louis Paxton and stars famous actors like Domhnall Gleeson.

It's a mix of silly humor and serious themes, and the director says it was magical to watch the actors work together.

The movie is being sold internationally by Charades and has support from big organizations like the BFI and Screen Scotland.
