Maharashtra Tourism Board Plans Five Resort Upgrades Through PPP

Maharashtra Tourism Board Plans Five Resort Upgrades Through PPP

Maharashtra wants to improve five tourism resorts.

The projects include a new five-star resort at Tadoba.

Other resorts in hill stations and coastal areas will also be upgraded.

Private companies will help build and operate them for long periods.

The operating agreements will last between 30 and 60 years.

The government tourism corporation wants an independent expert to watch the work.

This expert will check designs, construction quality and progress.

The goal is to make sure the projects are completed properly and on time.
