Hyderabad Golf Association Seeks Bigger Events Through IGPL Partnership
A professional golf league is holding a tournament in Hyderabad from October 7 to 10.
The Hyderabad Golf Association says it hopes this event will lead to more big golf tournaments at its course.
The association says it has added two holes and is working to improve the course.
The league’s chief executive says the players have praised the course.
The league’s schedule has grown to 15 events this year.
Men and women professionals play in the same field for equal prize money.
The association and league also want to help more children learn golf.

Quotes
Uttam Singh Mundy
CEO of AM Green IGPL
“We are proud to host IGPL's first leg in Hyderabad. IGPL is promoting golf in a different way. It is a league that goes outside India as well, and women play alongside men and earn on the same tour. We met the owners and promoters and discussed several plans, and they are willing to partner with a place like HGA. We want them to bring not only their tour to our course but more professional events, and we will be happy to host it.”

“Our association with HGA began in 2024 by sponsoring the Telangana Golconda Masters, and it is good to be back.”
