TCA Demands TG20 League Financial Disclosure
The Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) has asked the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) to share the financial details of the TG20 League.
They want to see the league's audited accounts, sponsorship deals, and other financial records.
The TCA says the HCA has not been transparent and that the league lost a lot of money.
They also think the HCA did not follow the rules about including all parts of Telangana in the league, which might have stopped some rural cricket players from getting a fair chance.
TCA has requested HCA to disclose audited accounts and financial records of the TG20 League.
TCA alleges HCA has not followed transparency rules, with the league reportedly incurring losses of Rs. 15 crore.
TCA questions the exclusion of Telangana districts from the league and the lack of a transparent player selection process.
The request was made to Justice (Retd.) P Naveen Rao, Chairman of the Single Member Committee.
TCA cites Rule 37(2) of the Supreme Court-approved HCA and BCCI Constitutions in their demand.
