Supreme Court Orders Time-Bound Medical Hearings for Bhopal Gas Victims
The Supreme Court has asked the Madhya Pradesh High Court to deal quickly with medical issues affecting Bhopal gas victims.
A special High Court bench will hear the case every month.
The case was moved from the Supreme Court to the High Court.
The High Court must make sure earlier Supreme Court instructions from August 2012 are followed on time.
It will also consider future applications about the victims’ medical care.
