Bengaluru's Double-Decker Flyover Expected by Year-End
Imagine a two-story road in Bengaluru!
The first part of this new flyover is already open, helping cars get around.
The second part, from HSR Layout to BTM Layout, is still being built and is expected to open by December.
This flyover will help cars move between different areas and avoid traffic jams at the busy Silk Board junction.
Builders are using a steel part instead of concrete to speed up construction, but traffic lights at the junction will stay, as not all cars can use the flyover.
Bengaluru's first double-decker flyover is under construction.
The flyover is expected to open by December.
A section from Ragigudda to Silk Board is already open.
Construction has faced delays due to traffic and design changes.
Traffic signals will remain at Silk Board even after the flyover opens fully.
