Lifetime Network Cuts Unscripted Team, Shifts Focus to Movies
Lifetime, a TV network, is changing what it makes.
They've fired many people who worked on reality shows, including a top boss named Nicole Vogel.
This is because the network wants to make more TV movies instead.
They also lost the rights to the popular show 'Married at First Sight'.
The remaining unscripted team member, Brie Miranda Bryant, will now oversee unscripted programming.
Lifetime cut the majority of its unscripted team.
Nicole Vogel, VP of Programming and Development, was among those laid off.
The move comes as Lifetime focuses on TV movies, like 'Girl in the Closet'.
Brie Miranda Bryant remains as SVP, Unscripted Development and Programming.
The layoffs follow the loss of the 'Married at First Sight' franchise to Peacock.
