KRU PG Centre to be set up at P Nainavaram
The government is planning to set up a new college for higher studies in P Nainavaram, near Vijayawada.
The MLA from the area, Yarlagadda Venkata Rao, announced this and asked for land to be given to the university.
He also met with people to listen to their problems and promised to solve them quickly.
The MLA wants to merge some nearby villages into the city to improve services like garbage collection and water supply.
The local government official praised the MLA's work and said they would look into the merger.
They also gave money to the family of a girl who died in floods last year.
